Refill Your Well: A Study + Self Care Retreat for Teachers

Yoga teachers! Are you feeling stale in your teaching and overwhelmed by your To Do list? This Study + Self Care Retreat is the medicine your heart is aching for.

In order to be a skillful, successful and happy teacher you need time + space. You need time to rest and practice, and you need mental space to devote to deepening your studies.

This very special retreat just for yoga teachers combines all of this into a
few beautiful days in the mountains.

Each day will include one active asana practice, one mellow movement + meditation practice as well as lectures and workshops taught by senior teachers Francesca Cervero and Diana Zotos Florio.

Francesca Cervero
Creator of The Science of the Private Lesson™

Francesca Cervero has been a full time private yoga teacher in New York City and Washington, DC since 2005. Her teaching is simple, slow and breath focused. Her teaching is inspired by the years she spent as a dancer, the subsequent years she spent in physical therapy, a deep study of anatomy, and her love of Buddhist teachings. She has a thriving business teaching a full schedule of private clients as well as a business mentoring yoga teachers in The Science of the Private Lesson™.

Diana Zotos Florio
Co-Director of the Threes Physiyoga Method

Diana Zotos Florio is working hard to change the physical therapy and yoga landscapes and raise the bar in the yoga profession by providing teachers with knowledge to have informed conversations with physical therapists, body workers, doctors, and other caretakers to better serve their clients.  She is fueled by the need to help teachers see their students through a more holistic lens and explore a range of possibilities in yoga postures and classes.

Location & Accommodations

Blue Mountain is a privately owned Retreat Center located on 27 acres of mostly forested land, in the beautiful Blue Ridge Mountains of Maryland, across from Harpers Ferry, WV.  Blue Mountain is convenient to both Washington, DC and Baltimore, MD – just about one hour driving time – yet after you arrive and settle in, you feel like you have been transported to the midst of a forest.

The retreat house is a welcoming home complete with a large kitchen, eight guest rooms for up to 25 guests, a massage room, a large deck, and lots of open sitting areas indoors, plus plenty of dining space – inside and outside – where guests enjoy meals together.

Rooms have access to three shared hall bathrooms. Twin-size European platform beds with high quality mattresses make for a simple but very comfortable stay. All towels and linens are provided.

The big common space is perfect for yoga classes. Conveniently located just a few steps away from the house, it is a lovely light-filled “great” room with high ceilings, large windows, and skylights. See more photos and information about Blue Mountain Retreat Center here.


Delicious organic vegan home-cooked meals are prepared by retreat center owner Beth Ehrhardt.

Cancellation Policy:
Should you be unable to attend the retreat, your cancellation request must be received in writing via email to [email protected] at least 30 days prior to the start of the retreat in order to receive a refund. Refunds given will be less a $50 administration fee.  Paid registrations are transferable to another individual at any time.
