I use versions of this exercise with many of my private clients and group classes. It is a great way to work on increasing mobility in wrist extension without forcing or passively stretching all the muscles and connective tissue around the wrist. Give it a try and let me know what you think!

Used this with my class last night. They loved it! And when I had them come forward for a wide-leg down dog and Pyramid pose, they all seemed very confident on their wrists. Thanks!!

Love this one! So simple and so effective. I feel like this is a really good one to do during office hours – just a really quick and effective thing to do for a minute.
Yep, for sure, that’s a great idea! And I do it all the time at the beginning of class, especially if we are going to spend some time weight bearing on the hands!
