Have you ever booked a new private yoga client and then freaked out a little bit? Did you feel like you didn’t have what it takes to try to make a yoga practice unique and meaningful for just one person? Did you finally sit down next to that private client and feel like a total imposter and like you would be found out for the fraud you are any minute?
It makes sense. Watch the video and I’ll tell you why. Then comment below and let me know how this lands for you, what stood out and how I might be able to support you!
Thank you for sharing this! It aligns really well with my thoughts on the subject — there’s something really special about 1×1 student-teacher relationships, especially in something so personal as yoga practice.
I totally agree Scott! I’m happy to hear this landed so well with you!
Thank you Francesca for another helpful video. As an experienced physical therapist who is confident in my own knowledge, I still feel vulnerable at times with private clients. I especially feel this way when I am first getting to know a client. You are so right, we can not know everything, or how a certain shape feels in a persons body, no matter how much we study. Yoga has a lot of grey areas. Thanks for the reassurance and yes, teaching one on one gets easier with practice and you learn to listen to your intuition (and hope it is what the person needs!) but it’s still challenging in its own way.
It is challenging and it never stops being challenging on some levels, but that is why I love it! It keeps me awake! Sending love you to Elaine. <3
Priceless information!!! You have a special talent for explaining things! Thank you so much!
You are so welcome Gail and I am so honored to be able to support you on your path!
Thank you for your warm and inspiring message. It is exactly what I needed to hear. ❤️
I am so happy that landed so well with you Diane! Sending love… <3
