{video} What It’s Like To Teach In My Home

I recently shared a screening process I use with potential private clients who find me online. Click here to watch that if you missed it. As a follow up I wanted to share a little bit about what it is like to teach in my home. In short: I love it! 🙂

    Hi
Thank you for your great videos.
I’m wondering what size is your yoga space at home?
We are considering building a very small addition and not sure if it would be big enought.

    Thank you

Great question, Jolyane! My yoga space itself is only 54 square feet but the whole downstairs, including my open office, is 300 square feet. Cozy & perfect for me!

Thanks for this video. Good information. I would love to teach in my home but I am part of an HOA (Homeowners Association) and according to our bylaws, I am prohibited from “conducing business of any kind” on the property. Its a small HOA (7 homes) so I plan to ask for an exception for private yoga classes if I limit the number of students per week. I have very nice neighbors, so I’m keeping my fingers crossed. I thought I’d share in case anyone else is in an HOA. Something to consider.

Excellent point, Mary. HOA bylaws are established for a reason but a conversation to explore the opportunity may be option. We may have a number of people in my Facebook group, Elevate, who could offer feedback. The Facebook group is closed for the next few weeks as I continue to celebrate my nuptials but will remind you when it’s open again so you can pose this question. Email my team ([email protected]) and we’ll send a reminder!
      xo,
      Francesca
