Becoming a caregiver of a new baby can be such a joy.  At the same time, new babies place big demands on our bodies, minds, and hearts.  The practice of yoga offers many tools that can support us as we become caregivers.  In this 90-minute workshop, you will learn how the practice of yoga can offer you respite and resilience, in both your body and mind.

You will alleviate tension in your lower back, upper back, neck, and shoulders.  You will strengthen your posterior chain (hamstring, glutes, and back muscles), to keep common aches and pains at bay.  The energetic side of the practice will be woven throughout and breathing practices, meditations or mantras will be included to support you in the moments you are stressed, anxious, foggy, or overwhelmed.  You deserve to be held, too.
