Hannah Davis is a body-focused therapist and yoga teacher specializing in mind-body healing. On her mat, Hannah learned to be present, take up space and to be still; and hopes to offer this same experience to her students.

Hannah began practicing yoga in 2009 and completed her 200-Hour yoga teacher training in 2017. She has training in mind-body healing, Ayurveda, mindful vinyasa, and various trauma-sensitive trainings. She leads several trauma-informed community-based yoga classes through Vikara Village.

Hannah is a Licensed Social Worker in Maryland and DC, and is involved in her community through a number of organizations.

Level 1 is a great starting point if you are brand new to yoga. It’s also an excellent choice if you’re looking for an Active Flow that’s accessible to everyone who is confident coming up and down from the mat. Our Instructors fully explain the Asanas (poses) and we offer options for you to dial up the challenge or dial back the intensity, based on what you’re observing in your body in each moment. These classes give you foundational instructions to Asanas, especially common warm up movements, simple strengthening exercises, and standing poses. We won’t do any complicated shapes or very much weight-bearing in the arms. We build in basic breath techniques, short moments of meditation, and bits of philosophy for a well-rounded practice.
