Asking people who are new to yoga to describe their physical experience is often really challenging for them and the new student you’ll see in this video is no exception. I use the standing pose sequence to teach him how to articulate what he’s feeling in his body.

{Full disclosure, this student is my father! He is a long-time runner and athlete, and while I’d been begging him to try yoga for years, he only finally agreed to do a lesson with me since he got to be on camera :-) }
